Mom's Afternoon Off (MAO)
The Mom's Afternoon Off is a new program developed by the Temple Emunah Brotherhood. This concept is for fathers go get together with their children on a Sunday afternoon giving their wives the afternoon off. The activity can be anything from simply playing games at the temple to going bowling. It is a win-win-win event. The wives are happy. The men get to socialize. The kids get to play. And the men don't have to choose between spending time with their families and attending men's club events. See the attached sample flier. Activity Ideas

Temple Israel of Natick has created the Divrei Ha-Shavuah - Words of the Week initiative whose goal is to teach a few Hebrew words from the Torah each week using the weekly Shabbat Flier and temple-wide Constant Contact emails. Check out our initial website. The tables of Hebrew words can be copied directly into Microsoft Word documents and Constant Contact emails.
