We are thrilled to have one of the future leaders in America's Jewish community as our scholar this year. He is a dynamic young Rabbi from Rhode Island, who also happens to have an MBA!
Rabbi Elan Babchuck serves as Executive Vice President at Clal (the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership), and Founding Director of Glean Network. He is the co-author of Picking Up the Pieces: Leadership After Empire (2024).
He has delivered keynotes at stages ranging from TEDx to the US Army’s General Officer Training, published in The Atlantic, The Guardian, and Washington Post, and has a column for The Wisdom Daily.
In his volunteer capacity, his main focus is on stemming the rising tide of toxic polarization in America. He serves as a Founding Partner of Starts With Us - a movement to counteract polarization in America, a Research Advisory Board Member of Springtide Research Institute, and as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Changemaker Initiative, among other roles.
We are very fortunate to have journalist Mark Patinkin. Mark has a fascinating background in the Middle East and other parts of the world. He is a longtime author and Providence Journal columnist who has covered world events in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, India and Eastern Europe.
