Hal Slifer is the radio host of Chagigah Radio, one of America's most popular Jewish Radio programs, offering listeners a wide range of Music, Humor, and Schmoozing. Chagigah broadcasts from WERS/88.9 in Boston and streams worldwide at WERS.org. Hal produced Family Documentaries for 20 years before trading in his video camera for a radio mic. Hal lives in Newton with his wife Dee, enjoys swimming and the movies, and most all he enjoys his granddaughters, Adar and Yael.

All are welcome for an exciting weekend of fellowship, whether you're a longtime member of FJMC or a first time attendee. Over the course of a few days in a serene setting, you'll engage with outstanding speakers, meet new and old friends, and have the opportunity to participate in sports, boating, music, games, jokes, a campfire, lay led services, and enjoy fabulous Kosher and vegetarian food including alcoholic beverages.

More baseball — and a celebration!
Join us for a Regional Outing to see the Red Sox AAA team, the WooSox, at Polar Park in Worcester on Sunday, June 28th, 2026 at 1:05pm. They’ll be taking on the Toledo Mud Hens, the Detroit Tigers’ AAA team.
It’s both NER FJMC Day and Jewish Heritage Day at Polar Park.
We’ll gather in our private Shaws Home Bull Pen Terrace section for an exciting afternoon together.
Tickets are $43, with pre‑game ceremonies and kosher food available.
Come cheer on the WooSox and enjoy a lively day of community and fun!
